Hazardous Materials
North American Airlines does not normally accept cargo, including Dangerous Goods or Hazardous Materials, on their flights.
There are provisions for the carriage of certain Dangerous Goods by passengers and crew. These provisions specify the quantity and packing requirements for items such as alcoholic beverages, toilet articles, dry ice, and certain types of batteries. The following items may contain Hazardous Materials, and as such, may be refused carriage: Automobile/ Engine Parts, Breathing/ Diving Equipment, Tool Boxes/ Repair Kits, and Photographic/ Medical/ Laboratory Equipment.
If there is any doubt as to whether an item may be carried, a passenger is encouraged to call us first for clarification. Please contact North American Airlines Reservations 1-800-371-6297 initially.
