Expectant Mothers
Expectant mothers, who desire to fly aboard North American Airlines up to their 28th week of pregnancy, are encouraged to provide North American with a photocopy of a medical certificate, signed by a doctor, stating that they are fit to travel on their desired itinerary.
After the 28th week of pregnancy an expectant mother is required to present a medical certificate, signed by a doctor, stating that she is fit to fly on the date of her flight and on the return date if applicable. The original certificate is to be retained by the passenger. North American requires one photocopy of the certificate to be given to the North American agent upon check-in. An additional photocopy should be made available for the return flight.
Expectant mothers may NOT be accepted for travel aboard North American Airlines after the end of the 34th week of pregnancy.
